Tenneh Gooding the CEO and founder of Tenneh Gooding children’s organization with five years dedication to humanity support and capacity building through empowerment and financial inclusion, she hailed from Sierra Leone, she’s presently residing in the United State of America with tons of experience on how children are been taking care of with proper guidance and medical support as required and mandated, Tenneh Gooding is filled with wealth of experience acquired from different training she has done in different countries including ivory coast, France and back in America, with her love for children especially the less privileged ones in Sierra Leone, she has decided to set up Tenneh Gooding platform personally funded by her to ensure that the Sierra Leone children can benefit from her in one way or the other as her contribution to humanity without thinking of getting anything in return for all her good, she has done countless outreach to ensure children are safe from different kind of stress this children are going through, she has a set of professional staffs under her pay role to ensure that this children are been taking care of through the strategies she set up from her office to different children in different conners of Sierra Leone on timely bases. Despite the fact that Sierra Leone children don’t get to see domestic abuse every day, they usually know it’s happening because its happening somewhere around the neighborhood. It can affect them deeply. More than 50% of women experiencing domestic abuse live in households with children under 12. These children are more likely to exhibit behavioral issues and physical health problems, including depression, anxiety, and violence toward peers. Women In Distress has child therapists that provide family therapy for infants and clinical one-on-one therapy services for children based on their development from infants to age 17, utilizing evidence-based methods and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. Tenneh Gooding has set up an innovation hub to curtail domestic violence against children to help them scale through specialized clinical services for children starting at age two and above, but on this particular project she’s requesting for help from possible voluntary donors, partners as to ensure she change the life’s of vulnerable Sierra Leone children for better.
