After speaking with the CEO of KKN the producers of Kono Music Festival, he made us to understand that Kono Music Festival is one of a kind when it comes to proper planning and preparedness as he and his team has been on their toes to ensure everyone who comes to the show enjoys the unbeatable creative entertainment from every artiste going on the stage of KMF as this year is a pathway to a successful many years to come, the show is aimed at uniting Kono people with the rest part of the world as most Kono descendant will be coming from different part of the world to attend the festival at celebrating and promoting cultural heritage of the Kono indigenous, the festival was initiated to celebrate love and harmony amongst others, the CEO dropped the entire details of the event as attached below.

MISSION
KONO MUSIC FESTIVAL organises events for the Kono District in order to discover and celebrate different cultures through music and other entertainment mediums.

GOALS
• To diversify the regional cultural scene by creating festive events every year.
• To contribute to the development of a culture of inclusion and sharing in the Kono District.
• To increase the occasions to showcase different cultures including those from the region.
• Improve on the socio-economic levels in the District.
• Open Kono District to tourist base.
• Enable Kono District to showcase her cultures to the country and world at large.
• To unify the District and that of its indigenes.
• To prepare Kono District for improve and steady development.
• To bring back lost Kono descendants back to their motherland
