FCC Property Rate Reform TAX SL

FCC Property Rate Reform: Do you know where your property rates and business license monies go?

21/02/2021

Freetown City Council will kick off the distribution of the 2021 Rate Demand Notices (RDNs) for Property Rates and Business Licenses on Monday 22nd February, 2021.

Paying property rates on time helps FCC provide essential services to residents. Our biggest expenditures as a Council include: sanitation, environmental management and education.

Once you receive your RDN, please play your part in keeping our streets clean, improving the infrastructure and furniture in our Municipal schools, maintaining our cemeteries and generally transforming Freetown by making payments before the due date. The work that we all want to be done in our city can now gradually be done as everyone comes onboard to pay property rates - we have increased the number of properties included in the FCC property database from 30,000 properties in 2019 to 100,000 properties in 2021!

For more questions or concerns you can contact our help desk at Freetown City Council 17 Wallace Johnson Street or call +232 78 333 000 / +232 88 333 000 / +232 34 333 000 to arrange an appointment. You can also visit www.fcc.gov.sl or email us info@fcc.gov.sl
