The
Ministry of Youths Affairs, in collaboration with partners has validated the
review of the National Youths Policy 2020 at the YSC hall Wilkinson road,
Freetown on the 3rd September, 2020. This process uses to take place
every period without the involvement of youths with disabilities. For the first
time youth with disability, through the African Youth with Disabilities’
Network-Sierra Leone has charged with the responsibility of preparing a
position paper that reflect the will of all categories of youths with
disabilities. This has enlightened key stakeholders within the youth sector, so
that inclusive approach can be taken to address issues of youths with and
without disabilities.
