SENSATIONAL SIERRA LEONEAN SINGER MAGGIE SET TO RELEASE HER FIRST ALBUM SOON
The winner of Sierra Leone's popular Vocal Drift Inspire Music Competition (Season 3) Margaret Nadenma aka Maggie is set to release her first album this year.

In an interview with this writer about this album, the sensational Maggie responded 'I have put in so much work into this album and I am still working on it trying to tide up certain things here and there. I want to give my fans the best of me. They are my biggest inspiration and this album will be dedicated to them
The album which is titled “Dream“ consist of ten songs two of which are collaborations featuring one of Sierra Leone’s consistent male artists “Morris “ aka the wonder boy and new school sensation “ Kaygee “. This album is produced by award winning producer from Cameroon “Miracle” and mixed and mastered by Maggie’s long time producer and manager Sage. Fans will get a taste of this album as the singer is set to release two songs from the album this February: Pride and Jankoliko
The song Pride captures the painful experience and human right abuse young girls go through as victims of rape especially in family settings where the girl is forced by her parents to keep quiet because the perpetrator is a family member.
This song brings to the fore the injustice teenage girls face in contemporary Sierra Leone as victims of sexual penetration and Rape
'This song is all about adding my voice to ongoing advocacy against Rape in the country. I firmly believe that girls should be girls and not sex objects' Maggie says
The other song Jankoliko is an afrobeat vibe that will rock u off your feet.
