A young lady with a sweat heart has taken a bold step
aimed to empower the youths and bring back the lost glory
of Sierra Leone in the African entertainments, she's ready
to sale the Sierra Leone entertainment industry to the
world with standards to negotiate with the leading industry
in the world, she has been doing some underground work
to ensure that entertainers from Sierra Leone can be big
and welcome in every country where they have lovers of
music especially the Sierra Leone community across the
world putting Sierra Leonians in the frontline, she went
further with a big risk with her job and businesses in the
US, she signed a deal with the American Government that
she will be held responsible for any damages caused by the
set of people she's inviting under her brand name for the
yearly planned events in the united states of America.
she was smart enough to plan a strategy with the All Star
president Colabo to have the team mate passports kept with
him from the point of entry to avoid any one misplacing their
passport or otherwise, the trip to the US enlisted a lot of wave
making artists and the family of the new and hottest record
label in Sierra Leone and hope to have more in the
next year trip to encourage artist with quality contents to meet
international standards and benefit international shows across the world.

My name is Dorine Poawui, a mother of two sons. Owner of D foxy styles LLC a hair salon, Sierra Leone Festival (Salone Festival) and Co-Founder of Putting Sierra Leone Artists First (PSLA1), I am philanthropist, businesswoman, and entrepreneur. I presently reside in Bowie MD working as a License Cosmetologist. I am a U.S. and Sierra Leone Citizen and absolutely proud to be a native of Sierra Leone and descendent of the Poawui and Kargobai family from Damballa Village. Three siblings 2 Boys 1 Girl, God bless me with two wonderful boys 21 and 16. They keep me grounded.
My DPLC Inc foundation focus is to provide additional relief and support to the villages in Sierra Leone by providing home necessities for some villages. These charitable items include clothing, shoes, bed sheets, pillows, school supplies, and non-prescription pharmaceutical supplies to name few.
During the years I have devoted myself to most Sierra Leone projects and charities to help improve the lives of our family and friends back home.
With PSLA1 and Salone Festival Inc, my focus is to provide a platform for our well talented Sierra Leone Artist. Provide hands on support for current and upcoming artists that are ready for this movement.
My goal is created for unity in our industry while showing the world the many talents of our country.
My intent are to expose the hidden talents that have been untouched in Sierra Leone music productions to the world not just in our Sierra Leone community.
I am committed to excellence of this project to the fullest ability and will do all in my power to make this a success.
