BAKARAMOH Foundation With African Youth With Disabilities' Network-Sierra Leone Supplied Food Items and Covid 19 Preventive Materials

Usually it has always been companies and set of different abled people who always donates to support the sensitization and mobilization of people with disabilities
but the world seems not be giving attentions to the difficulties faced by people with disabilities nowadays, the people with disabilities are now thinking of how to take care of themselves and their fellow with disability challenges by looking out for them every now and then, this young Man by the name Mr. Bakkar head of African with disabilities Sierra Leone and his team has been able to sought another bright future partner in promotion of disabilities need and care to ensure their activities can benefit more home filled with people with disabilities, the project this time around is on the constant awareness on measures to curb covid19 pandemic within the people with disabilities as they are prone to getting affected easily since they have no one to care for them despite their challenges in this difficult time in the world 3rd wave most deadly covid19 pandemic, the two organizations have been able to put resources together aimed at ensuring a safe life for the people with disabilities as it targeted about 20 homes each filled with over twenty or more people with disabilities, helping them with materials such as hand sanitizers and facemask to ensure they are leaving a healthy life and also supporting them with food items that will make them to really appreciate the preventive measures materials supplies giving to them because most people with disabilities are concerned about how to enjoy daily life with good food as majority can not afford the money to buy food with the state of things in the country during this pandemic period, according to the head of African Youth with disabilities he said, giving only preventive measure items to people with disabilities without food in their stomach might lead them to sale the items given to them to enable them get something to eat, but with the right strategies put together by the two partners to care for their stomach and their health altogether at the same time really helped to make the sensitization meaningful and impactful, helping the people with disabilities in twenty homes within Freetown and willing to be extending it further if there’s more funding partners to help make the dream of saving life’s of people with disabilities come through, African Youth With Disabilities' Network-Sierra Leone in partnership with (BAKARAMOH Foundation) a United state based organization with a branch office in Sierra Leone collaborated together to distributed food items and COVID-19 preventive materials to persons with disabilities as funded by the two organizations, the activities tarted on the first July, 2021 in Freetown, a project slated to initially target 20 homes focusing on how to compliment Sierra Leone government effort in the fight against the third wave of COVID-19.
