Persons
with disabilities are most time excluded in politics because of the way
politicians and political party perceives them. They only believe that, the
charity approach is the only way they must use to handle their issues instead
of mainstreaming them in to their political structures. This is the reason why
most time they are not included in governance system of the country. It is a
perception that has to change through the political registration commission so
that all political parties can develop a policy for politicians with
disabilities so that they can be given equal opportunity to exercise their
political rights in a conducive atmosphere.
